Demand has never been higher for eco-friendly, effective solutions, for the invasive pests attacking and killing vast numbers of urban and forest trees. Arborjet methods are very effective, while reducing any impact to our environment..

We seek a sales candidate to live and work in a territory inclusive of the states /areas from Northern Illinois through Wisconsin and Minnesota. Duties would include working with existing distributors, developing new distribution opportunities, supporting end-users, and interacting with city and university people. This is a salaried, technical sales position.

This position requires flexibility, varying hours, and will include trips to other geographic areas as business demands dictate. You will work as a part of a team bringing new methods and university supported research to the arboriculture community. Anticipate speaking to groups large and small, interacting with a diverse group of clients, attending trade shows, and traveling weekly within your territory. Public speaking experience is necessary, and you should anticipate approximately 40% overnight travel. You will sell, and train on the use of injection equipment, insect and disease controls, and products to address micronutrient deficiencies. You will be measured on your ability to grow sales volume in your area.

We seek an independent, team player with Horticulture experience. A BS degree in a related field is desired. Sales experience in the green industry is a necessity. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of success in green-industry technical sales, and a passion for eco-friendly solutions. New employee will be expected to pass the ISA test to become a “certified arborist” within a year of hire.
